Top of the Cabritas Hill may seem impossible to reach, but you can still get ther. Through the favela, through the forest and up the steep and seemingly endless concrete stairs. I highly don’t recommend this tour for children or those who are afraid of heights. Climbing the stairs is really steep and tiring. On the way we will climb a concrete wall 2 meters tall, but this is quite realistic if you are an active person.
The views along the way and at the top are amazing. Rio is beautiful, and during this climb you will see Copacabana from an unusual angle, and a statue of Christ in the distance on a hilltop, and Lagoa, Ipanema and the Tijuca forest.
I highly recommend this unusual climb to anyone who loves a little challenge, mountain climbs, sports and a bit of adrenaline. Plus: no one has such photos from Rio! The hill and viewpoints are little known among Instagrammers and tourists.
